2027 Mbaitoli State Constituency: Group boosts Odunze’s ambition

Hon. Anthony Chigozie Odunze popularly known as Ikuku Oma Mbaitoli of People’s Democratic Party, PDP aspiration to represent the people of Mbaitoli State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly ahead of 2027 general elections have received a boost as a revered sociopolitical group, Mbaitoli Coalition Alliance Movement has thrown their weight behind the ambition.
Hon. Emmanuel Ebeke, the group’s Coordinator disclosed this Thursday while on a solidarity visit to the House of Assembly hopeful at his palatial ancestral home in Umueze Alaije Ochii Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA of the State.
Ebeke said the sociopolitical pressure group took the decision after weighing the credibility and integrity of all the other candidates jostling to represent the State Constituency and the odds favoured Odunze, as the best man for the job.
He described Odunze as a man of implicit trust and philanthropy noting that the astute politician has in the recent past empowered so many youths of Mbaitoli and even beyond using his Ikuku Oma Charity Foundation and Odunze Creativity Club.
The Coordinator also pointed out that the group has resolved to henceforth collapse her structures within the 12 wards and 34 autonomous communities in the council area to the PDP House of Assembly candidate and to aggressively mobilize supporters for him.
Ebeke further solicited the support and cooperation of the people of Mbaitoli Local Goveenment Area towards the realization of the political ambition of the Odunze assuring them that the candidate being reputable for humane, compassionate, patriotic and visionary leadership will guarantee them effective and qualitative representations.
He also applauded the PDP candidate for his recent philanthropic gestures at the School of Deaf and Dumb Ofekata Orodo in Mbaitoli LGA, where he built them ultra modern toilet with facilities as well as cash donations for the students upkeep.
Responding, Hon. Anthony Odunze (Ikuku Oma Mbaitoli) thanked the group for their level of love and support and re-assured them of his commitment to make the people of Mbaitoli proud if given the mandate.
The frontline House of Assembly hopeful who’s also the founder and financier of Odunze Creativity Club further informed that the Non Governmental Organization, NGO in recent past have built houses for many indigent persons, and for years they have been offering scholarships and distributing exercise books to both primary and secondary schools in Mbaitoli.
He also pointed out that, “many youths of Mbaitoli have been empowered through my regular self sponsored skills acquisition training programmes.
“All my philanthropic claims are verifiable. Am a humane proud man, I don’t talk what I can’t do. Am a home boy. I live with the people. I understand their problems and needs, above all I will certainly deliver to them the much eluded democratic dividends.
“As an individual, am doing my best but the problems are enormous that needs prudent management of common resources in the overall benefits of all, and herein lies my vision and mission of asking for your support to have the mandate to represent the good people of Mbaitoli State Constituency in the State House of Assembly” he solicited.
