320 players for All Stars Women Football Carnival

About 320 players will be in action when the 2022 edition of the annual All Stars women football tournament kicks off on Monday, January, 3 at the Hockey pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

President of Association of Nigerian Women Football Club Coaches, Hanz Kralmer told our correspondent that registration and accreditation of players will begin on Monday and end on Wednesday after which they will be grouped in to 20 teams with the first match taking place on Thursday.
He stated that all arrangement has been put in place to ensure the success of the two weeks tournament which will be rounded up on January, 15 at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, even as he appealed to corporate organisations to partner with them to make the tournament a huge success.

” I’ m happy that this year’s tournament is holding not minding the financial challenges we’re passing through and all our female players are looking forward to it to enable them.exhibit their potentials in the round leather game.

” It’s equally important to state that since the commencement of this yearly competition, many players that took part in it have ended up playing fpr one of the national teams be it Super Falcons, Falconets or Flamingoes.

“The financial involvement in putting this championship together is enermous and that’s why am appealing to corporate organisations to give us their backing to make this year’s edition a huge success”, he stressed.

The two weeks tournament which ends on January,15 is being organised by Association of Nigerian Women Football Club Coaches as part of its efforts to develop female football at the grassroots.
