Interpol VP, Umar, others back Anambra Super 8 football tournament

Football in Anambra state has continued to receive some life line with support coming for the Super 8 tournament which kicked off today at the Awka City Stadium.

The Super 8 is being supported by Interpol bigwig G B Umar an Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).

Two other corporate bodies, Cosco Investment Nigeria Limited and De-Wilson are also backing the tournament.

Anambra FA boss, Chikelue Iloenyosi while thanking the individuals and corporate bodies that have identified with the Super 8 urged others to back the FA.

“My desire is to see Anambra football at the top and we need the support of every body to actualize this,” Iloenyosi said.
