Popular Celestial pastor, Onala escapes death as son attacks him with machete accuses him of using his destiny

The popular Ibadan based Celestial Pastor, Kolawole Olakanmi popularly known as Baba Onala escaped death on the early hours of Sunday, 22nd at his residence located around Ayekale area, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway from an attack from his only son Oluwatobi Olakanmi who attacked with machete, threatening to kill his father.
According to an eye-witness account, the first son of Prophet Olakanmi, Tobi who is in his early 30s stormed the resident of his Dad with a well sharpened machete and destroyed the security doors at the residence  while striking it in an attempt to force his way into the house to attack his dad.
It took the interventions of the Amotekun Security Operatives that rushed into the scene to overpower and make an arrest of the assailant, the situation that created a pandemonium in the Eyekale neighborhood.
A source close to the family who does not want his name in print revealed to newsmen that Tobi on the instruction of his father is still being detained at the custody of the Amotekun Security Operatives as at the time of filing this report.
“Tobi told us that he received a prophecy that his father, Baba Onala is the one responsible for his predicament, hence using his destiny, because as his first son, he is not satisfied with his condition of living. He came here this morning shouting that his father should give him 200 million naira or else he will take his life with the machete”, said an eye-witness.
