OlorunAjulo Night 2026 Empowers Youths, Promotes Good Governance in Ibadan
The 13th edition of OlorunAjulo Night, an annual all-night praise, revival, and empowerment programme organized by Total Life in Christ Ministry, was held on July 10 at the Baptist Hebron Center, Idi-Ishin, Ibadan, drawing youths, church leaders, political stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and worshippers from different denominations.
The event, themed “A Ready Generation for Good Works,” was anchored on the biblical text of 2 Timothy 2:21 and focused on spiritual revival, leadership development, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and national transformation.
Delivering the welcome address, the Founder of Total Life in Christ Ministry and Director General of Mama Empowerment Foundation, Rev. Dr. Adenike Victor-Tade, described the programme as a divine platform for raising spiritually vibrant, socially responsible, and economically empowered believers who will positively influence society.
She said the annual programme has, over the past 13 years, evolved into a platform for revival, empowerment, leadership development, and nation-building.
“OlorunAjulo Night is more than an annual gathering; it is a divine appointment where lives are changed, destinies are redirected, and people are equipped to become agents of positive change,” she stated.
The cleric appreciated participants for attending the programme, noting that their presence reflected commitment to spiritual growth, personal development, and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
Among dignitaries present at the event were the President of Ibadan Baptist Conference, Rev. Dr. Oyekola Bamidele; the Moderator of Ona-Iye Baptist Association, Rev. Dr. Ipolola; South-West Deputy Zonal Coordinator of All Support Group Networks for APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Re-election campaign structure, Alhaji Mustapha Akande; and the Oyo State APC Women Leader, Dr. (Mrs.) Felicia Adekemi Opatunde.
The programme featured intensive praise and worship sessions, gospel ministrations, drama presentations, political discussions, business and economic empowerment talks, health services, and family-life teachings.
A major highlight of the event was the political talk and interaction session titled “Good Governance and Your Preparation,” aimed at preparing young people to become responsible citizens and visionary leaders capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.
Participants also benefited from entrepreneurship and economic empowerment sessions focused on business development, networking opportunities, and financial sustainability. Free medical check-ups and health education were also provided by health professionals at the programme.
Rev. Dr. Victor-Tade highlighted the impact of the ministry over the years, revealing that thousands of youths and women have been trained in vocational and entrepreneurial skills such as agriculture, shoemaking, tailoring, and bag production.
According to her, the ministry has also supported students with scholarships, promoted political awareness, restored broken homes, and provided mentorship and business opportunities for entrepreneurs.
She attributed the achievements to God’s faithfulness and the support of partners, volunteers, facilitators, and sponsors who have sustained the vision over the years.
The convener encouraged participants to remain actively engaged throughout the programme and maximize every opportunity provided during the event.
She expressed confidence that attendees would leave the gathering spiritually renewed, empowered, and equipped to impact their communities positively.
