Eagles battered in USA by Mexico

By George Aluo
Two goals in each halves, that was what Mexico used to pummel home Super Eagles by 4-0 early Sunday morning in California, United States of America.
Eagles showed very early in the game that they don’t have what is needed to hold the Mexicans when they conceded the very first goal only after two minutes of action.
Hector Herera scored Mexico’s first goal. Before anybody could say Jack Robinson, Eagles conceded again in the fourth minute with Rogelio Mori doing the damage.
Thereafter the Mexicans took things easy preferring not to punish the Eagles any further until the second half.
On resumption of play, Hector Herrera made it 3 for Mexicoin the 51st minute while Jonathan dos Santos completed the massacre in the 77th minute, even as the Eagles fired blank.
The one sided encounter was one in which Mexico had eight corner kicks with the Eagles taking only two.
