After sending out NNL side, Abia Warriors in the semi-finals of the Abia State President Federation Cup, President of Ahudiyannem Fc, Chief Robert Onyeani (aka Roco) has assured that the team will not fear any opponent as they go into the finals on Sunday
The Abiriba Abia State based side, Wednesday defeated Abia Warriors in their semi- final clash. Both teams played out a goalless draw before the non league side triumphed by 4-3 penalties, making it the fifth time the team is beating Abia Warriors since it was formed.
Speaking on their qualification, Chief Onyeani whose female team also qualified for the finals noted that both teams have what it takes to lift the trophies, declaring that they fear no foe.
“We’re fully prepared for the finals holding on Sunday. You know that last year, we sent Enyimba out of the FA Cup, before defeating Abia Warriors to lift the trophy and we are ready to repeat the feat on Sunday.
Chief Onyeani who is known for motivating his players, promised that he’ll continue to provide the necessary logistics and financial incentives to both teams to enable them be a force to be reckoned with in Nigerian football
