World Cup play off: Abuja battle ready for Ghana game -Sunday Dare

Sports minister, Sunday Dare has declared that the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja is ready for the World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

Dare who spoke today while giving an update on what his ministry is doing alongside the NFF ahead of the tie said everything is being done to ensure a hitch free game on March 29.

“We have taken a look at what we need to do in the area of ticketing, transportation, security and other areas. All hands are on deck, people have been assigned with various responsibilities. The President has graciously approved funds for us to get the job done and we are doing everything to deliver. A new reserve bench, one of the most modern in the world would be in place in another one week. Simply put, the stadium would be ready for one of the biggest match of our history.”

Dare stressed that the stadium’s VAR is on its way, adding that it is being handled solely by the NFF.
