All set for Lagos NAPHER-SD conference
All is now set for the 7th Lagos state NAPHER-SD Conference scheduled to hold between 6th and 9th, June 2023 at the Sports Bar, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
A statement released by the chairman of the conference committee,Ige Jenyo Olawale disclosed that the conference which has as its theme “catalysing lagos state sustainable development dynamics through school health, physical education, Recreation, Sports and Dance” will attract members from all the local govt areas of the state.
Comrade ige jenyo olawale highlighted that 6th June is for the arrival ,7th is for Keynote speaker and and Lead paper presentation.
The Keynote Speaker is Prof. R. Abiodun Morounfolu of the Dept of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Lagos State University, Ojo and visiting Professor University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. Lead paper presenter is the Zonal Chairman, South West, Prof. Pat O. Oyeniyi, from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.
Comrade Ige jenyo olawale added that there will be continuation of other Sub-Themes papers to be presented by eminent scholars till Thursday 8th June.
Also on Wednesday 7th June, Award will be presented to deserving Members in various endeavours.
Thursday 8th June, 2023 is for AGM and Congress to elect executive members that will steer the ship of the association for the next four years.
The chairman who appealed to members across the state to attend the epoch making event pointed out that the conference committee had earlier visited some prominent stakeholders in the state with a view to sensitising and mobilising members for the conference.
