Adron Games: Organisers plan upgrade of Yabatech Sports Centre

Organisers of the annual Adron Games have concluded plans to give a facelift to the facilities at the Yabatech Sports Centre, venue of the multi sports event.

Games Consultant, Waidi Akanni who disclosed this said the basketball and volleyball courts would be given special attention to bring it to international standard, even as the entire arena would be thoroughly cleaned up ahead of the games which runs from November 10-12.

Akanni pointed out that the GMD of Adron Homes Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing is himself an alumnus of Yabatech and would want to impact positively on the prestigious college.

“Yabatech is not just hosting. Taking the games there would benefit the institution and we are grateful for the support received from the management of the institution. The Rector himself Engr Obafemi Omokungbe has since endorsed the games,” Akanni stated.

He said it would be three days of sports and fun laced with music as Young John one of nation’s rising artist would be performing live.

Topping the list of legends that would be part of the games are Dan Amokachi, Tijani Babangida and Chioma Ajunwa.
