Refereeing Development Committee slams indefinite suspension on Adebayo Qudus

As part of it’s continuous effort to sanitize referring in the country, the Refereeing Development Committee has placed an indefinite suspension on Adebayo Qudus of Oyo State chapter for the dubious role he played in an NNL game involving Gateway FC and Sporting Lagos

In a letter of suspension by the committee signed by Mohamed Ameenu DLM, FIMC, FAIPA, CMC on behalf of the Chairman of the committee and copied to the NFF President, General Secretary, Nigeria Football Federation the Chairman /COO, of NNL and the culprit, he was found guilty of awarding an unjustified penalty in the match Day 19 encounter played on the 24th May, 2025 as well as taking several other decisions that do not align with the provisions of the Laws of the game.

The letter further stated that his actions and performances did not only negatively affect the integrity of Refereeing but equally brought the game to disrepute.
