Enugu State Coaches charged on self development

Coaches in Enugu State have been charged to be more passionate on the job and upgrade themselves in the new techniques in Sports.

Addressing the Coaches ahead of the kickoff of the Enugu State U-15 Sports competition at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, the Director of Coaching, Ministry of Youths and Sports, Ephraim Ochonma.
said , upgrading is necessary as coachee are the focal point through which the World sees Sports.

According to him, the joy of seeing one’s athlete perform excellently at the National and Global level surpasses the sufferings coaches put in training the athletes.
Some of the coaches,Denis Anih and Patricia Mozie commended the Director and promised to do their best.

The Enugu State U-15 Sports competition will kick off from 20th-26th August , 2024 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

Meanwhile, Football, cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Cycling, Taekwondo, Chess, Scrabble, Para -table tennis, Golf, Weightlifting and boxing are some of the sports to feature at the event.
