Arsenal have crawled back to the top of the EPL log after beating Aston Villa 4-2.

While the Gunners got things right, defending champions, Man City fumbled away as they were held by lowly rated Nottingham Forest in a game that ended 1–1.

Arsenal manager, Arteta while basking in the euphoria of their victory declared…”We showed a lot of character and resilience from the game to get back twice in the game and end up winning it. We have to take some lessons from today, especially in the first half we didn’t do all the simple things right and then you give them the chance to score those goals in a really simple way. But we talked at half-time, we raised individual standards and started to do what they had to and went on to win.”

Arsenal are now on 54 points from 22 matches, while Man City are second with 52 matches after 23 games.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s woes this season continued as they were beaten at home by Southampton by a lone goal.
