Basketball: Benue U-18 tournament enters crucial stage
The 2022 Benue State Basketball Association U -18 Female Tournament, on going at the Basketball Court of the Aper Aku Stadium , Makurdi, the state capital, enters the crucial stage.
FIBA Africa Zone 3 President Col. Sam Ahmedu (retd) who expressed joy over the event said the tournament would throw up new basketball stars for the country.
It would be noted that female youngstars drawn from across the State have been honing their skills in the tournament tagged ” Catch them young” under the theme “Let the Girls Play”.
The Tournament is being played in a Double Round Robbin Format.
The participating Teams are :
1. Lady Titans , Iyaba, Makurdi.
2. Gboko Volunteers, Gboko
3. Glory Girls, Otukpo
4. Sparks, Makurdi
