King’s College: Oba Akiolu, Tandoh, others for 100th Inter-House sports meet

Former Chairman, Lagos state sports Commission, Dr KwekuTandoh tops the list of dignitaries expected to grace this year’s annual inter house sports meet of the prestigious King’s College, Lagos.
Tandoh is billed to be the chairman of sports meet which is to laced with a lot of side attractions.This year’s event billed for this weekend (February 22) is a special one as it would be the 100th edition of the sports show in the college that is reputed to have produced great sports men that have brought honors to Nigeria.
According to the invitation sent out by the authorities the College, a copy of which was made available to, Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu would be the Royal Father of the Day, while the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education Arch. Sonny Echono would be the Distinguished Guest of Honour. A Director in the ministry, Hajia Binta Abdulkadir would be the Special Guest of Honour.
The event kicks off by 11 am at the College’s Sports Complex with athletics competition and other side attractions that would make it a memorable day.
The College’s Parents Teachers Association (PTA) led by Yinka Oduntan are fully involved in the efforts to make the 100th inter house sports meet a grand event.
