Kpakor tips Eagles to over run Guinea Bissau with ease

By George Aluo

Ex international, Moses Kpakor says he sees the Super Eagles getting a comfortable win against Guinea Bissau in Abuja on Friday in the AFCON 2023 qualifier.

Kpakor, a member of the all conquering squad assembled by Clemence Westerhof in the 90s said he is also happy to see some home based lads in the Eagles ahead of the game.

The Benue born former Iwuanyanwu Nationale and Abiola Babes midfielder said having home based players in the Eagles is good for the nation’s domestic football.

In the words of Kpakor who spoke on Sports Round Up, a radio show packaged by Sportsville on Ray Power…”I see the Eagles winning comfortably in Abuja a situation that would make the second leg easy. I am happy Peseiro has called up some home lads. This is encouraging. It would make players in the domestic league to work harder. For them, it would be a case of hey…if the Rivers United can get a call up to the Eagles, I can also be invited.”

Kpakor who rose to national limelight while playing for the defunct BCC Lions of Gboko is at present with the sports department of Benue State University as a coach.
