Los Angeles, USA bubbles for the Njoku family as Jennifer weds

It was two days of love, fun and lavish entertainment in the city of Los Angeles, United States as Jennifer Njoku wedded her sweetheart Nicholas James Johnson.

The ceremony which started Friday night, August 7 with the Igbo traditional Igbankwu was rounded up Saturday with the white wedding.

The Igbankwu was one that attracted several California based Nigerians and their American inlaws.

Speaking after the wedding, Chief Celestine Onyeali Njoku (Dike Eji Ejemba of Umuohiagu) Ngor Okpala, Imo state thanked God for the success of the wedding. Mother of the groom, Lolo Fidelia Njoku described Jennifer as a precious daughter that she would ordinarily not let go…”but I thank God she has found a man she is in love with. I wish them well all the days of their marriage life,” she prayed.

The wedding was one in which Nigerian and American culture blended. The Nicholas family from Wincosin said they are happy their son found a pretty Nigerian girl as a wife.
