The Founder and President of Mama Empowerment Foundation, Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Adenike Victor-Tade, has announced plans for another mega edition of the annual Total Life in Christ Ministry programme scheduled to hold in July at the Felicia Hall of Jogor Centre, Ibadan.
Victor-Tade, popularly known as “Mama Empowerment,” described the programme as one of the ministry’s most significant annual events aimed at transforming lives through spiritual and socio-economic empowerment.
According to her, the ministry began the programme over three decades ago in Kaduna, while this year’s gathering marks the 13th edition in Ibadan.
“This programme, Olorun Ajulo, which used to be a gathering of over 500 young people, is a key annual event for our Ministry.
“Though we started in Kaduna 30 years ago, this is the 13th edition in Ibadan. It is designed to empower youths and women by addressing their spiritual, economic, marital and leadership needs,” she said.
The event, which traditionally attracts ministers of God, worshippers, youths and women from different parts of the country, is expected to feature intensive teaching sessions, worship, prophecy and empowerment activities throughout the night.
Victor-Tade, who recently celebrated the first anniversary of the cooperative arm of the foundation, Ultimate Total Life Concepts Initiative, also used the opportunity to call on corporate organisations and public-spirited individuals to support the foundation’s vision of assisting the needy and creating sustainable opportunities for young people.
The anniversary celebration highlighted some of the achievements recorded by the cooperative scheme, which she explained was established to provide financial support for low-income earners and small-scale traders.
According to her, members of the cooperative become eligible for interest-free loans within three months of registration, a development she said has positively impacted petty traders and struggling entrepreneurs, particularly within Ibadan South-West Local Government Area.
“We give loans without interest. Some beneficiaries are even supported with grants. Many of them you see here today have grown their businesses and are doing well,” she stated.
She further appealed to individuals, philanthropists and corporate bodies to partner with the initiative in order to improve the living conditions of vulnerable members of society and promote economic growth at the grassroots level.
The July programme is expected to bring together participants from various backgrounds for what organisers describe as a life-changing experience of faith, empowerment and community development.
