Metu tasks new ISTDAL president

A frontline community leader, Agu Victor Metu has given a pat on the back to the newly elected president of Imo state town development association in Lagos (ISTDAL), Agu Chris Ekeocha (Onwa) over his emergence as leader of the body.
Metu in a congratulatory message sent to Ekeocha noted that his victory was well deserved, even as he charged him to ensure he takes ISTDAL to the real next level.
Metu stressed that Ekeocha’s victory was equally a victory for Umuohiagu Autonomous community, Ngor Okpala local government area where Ekeocha hails from.
In his words:”Your victory is a victory for our Autonomous community (Umuohiagu). You are a worthy ambassador of Umuohiagu community, Ngor Okpala local government area. I m confident you will take ISTDAL to the real next level.”
Ekeocha, last Sunday won the Imo ISTDAL election as the new president and he is billed to be sworn in early next year.
Ekeocha it would be noted is also the chairman of Umuohiagu Social Club of Nigeria as well as several other socio cultural bodies.
Married with children, Ekeocha was last year bestowed with the traditional title of Ugo di Nma by Eze Ndi Igbo in Ikeja, Lagos State.
