Owerri, ready for South East Governor’s summit on security/ economy- Anyanwu

There are indications, that all is now ready for the South East summit on economy and security being sponsored by the South East Governor’s Forum in collaboration with Ohanaeze Ndigbo, an apex sociocultural organization of Igbo ethnic nationality.
According to a press statement issued and endorsed by Senator Chris Anyanwu, the mega summit planning committee, Chairperson, the two days event is holding at Landmark Events Center near Protea Hotel, New Owerri on Thursday 28th September to Friday 29th September by 10 am each day.
Anyanwu pointed out that as Owerri, the heart beat of Eastern Heartland looks forward hosting the people of the same ethnic nationality, there is no conflict or clash between the summit and Igbo Day 2023 programme.
According to her, “both events are mutually complimentary and have the approval and support of all the South East Governors and the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
” The programmes of both events have been structured to accommodate the schedules of their Excellencies the South East Governors, the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, and all individuals who have roles to play in both events” she assured.
The Chairperson further disclosed that, the hosts of the summit,; their Excellencies, the Governors of Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu States are looking forward to invited guests attendance and participation in the activities of the summit.
“Remember that this is a serious search for understanding of the problem of insecurity and solutions to it. Secondly, the summit is also for the way forward for the South East on the economic front. So, come with your ideas and solutions ” she advised.
She assured the invites that her committee is prepared for robust and seamless summit that would remain evergreen in the anal of the history of the zone.
