Oyo NBB of C Chairman, Gbenga Opaleye, Fetes Sanusi Over Birthday, Hails His Support For Boxing
The Chairman of the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC), Hon. Gbenga Opaleye, has congratulated the Okanlomo Oodua, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, on the occasion of his 58th birthday, commending his unwavering support for the development of boxing in Oyo State.
Hon. Opaleye acknowledged the celebrant’s immense contributions to the growth of the sport, particularly his commitment to nurturing young talents and creating opportunities for aspiring boxers to excel.
He specifically highlighted the recent establishment of the Ilaji Boxing Academy by Engr. Sanusi, noting that the initiative would provide a platform for young people with boxing talent to receive training and develop into champions.
“Engr. Dotun Sanusi has been a pillar of support for the Oyo State NBB of C, always coming to our aid at critical moments. We cannot but pray for his long life and sound health as he added another year,” Opaleye stated.
The NBB of C chairman further expressed appreciation for Sanusi’s continued commitment to the advancement of boxing, describing his support as significant to the development of the sport and the discovery of emerging talents in the state.
He prayed that God would grant the celebrant many more years of good health, wisdom and continued success as he marks another milestone in his life.
