Nasarawa United duo on cloud nine over Monimichelle’s Enyimba Stadium turf, want same in Lafia

Nasarawa United goal poacher, Chinedu Okereke, has rated high the standard of the Enyimba Int’l pitch in Aba built by Monimichelle Sports Company.

Okereke who spoke moments after his side recorded a 2-1 victory over NPFL newcomers Bendel Insurance in the AITEO FA Cup wants the same kind of turf at Lafia.

The attacker who has scored three goals in two games at the Aba landlord’s turf, noted that the pitch is fantastic and favours his style of play whenever he features there.

Also collaborating this,his striking partner who got the spot kick that gave victory to his side Chinedu Ohanachom said playing on the pitch enhances his performance and made him run faster behind the defense line anytime he is with the ball.

He went further to inform Wakawaka Sports Extra that the welfare package at the Lafia based side a lot better compared to that of Heartland FC.

“Enyimba has the best playing turf in the country…guess what, it favors me. I m able to express myself here…the pitch is perfect and very nice. I’m also very happy to have returned to Nasarawa United. It’s a very good place and the payments are coming as at when due. There is no comparing Nasarawa United and Heartland.”
