Nigeria, Ghana Re-Ignites Jollof War At 2026 Minifootball Women’s Nations Cup In Cameroon

Nigeria will face regional rivals Ghana, Guinea and Kenya in Group B of the African MiniFootball Confederation AMC Women’s Nations Cup to be hosted by Cameroon.

The draw conducted in Yaounde, presented another ‘Jollof Battle’ as Nigeria will come face-to-face with their Ghanaian counterparts in the last group game.

Both countries have engaged in an endless contest of supremacy across different levels of socio-cultural life.

Nigeria will however, begin it’s campaign against Guinea before they clash with Kenya.

In Group A, Cameroon will meet Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone and Benin Republic.

The championship is expected to begin on September 30 and end on October 4 this year.

The 8-team tournament which is the first to be organised by the continent’s body will be a pathway to the World Minifootball Federation (WMF) World Cup.
