Pro- Wrestling Africa Scribe, Olukoya Urges Fed Govt To Pay Greater Attention To Wrestling Development

Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya has called on the Federal Government to pay special attention to the development of professional wrestling in the country.
He made the appeal, following the rising profile and impressive exploits of Nigerian-born WWE stars Obafemi and Onos.
Nigerian powerhouse Oba Femi delivered the biggest win of his career after defeating “The Beast” Brock Lesnar in a shocking and emphatic showdown on WWE programme.
Speaking on the fight, Olukoya noted that his exploit is an indication that Nigeria boosts of talented mats men who need encouragement for them to dominate the game globally.
“The victory of Obafemi is an indication that the country is blessed with raw talents and we at Pro- Wrestling Africa are confident that with adequate encouragement, support and exposure, our wrestlers will make the country proud internationally.
” All we’re asking for is for governments at all levels to invest in professional wrestling inorder to create employments for our youths, keep them away from crime and enable them bring glory to their fatherland”, he stated.
Olukoya was confident that with adequate support, Nigerian wrestlers will compete more favourably against their opponents from other parts of the world with a declaration that Nigeria have the fighters who can withstand any opposition anywhere in the world.
