Super Eagles girl, Vera Chukwu releases debut album

After making history as the first ever female musician to compose a song for the Super Eagles ahead of the Egypt 2019 AFCON, Afro beat music star Vera Ogochukwu (Vera Chukwu) has released her debut album.

The Enugu State born multi talented musician disclosed that the album, a three in one contains three amazing Afro beat tracks “Lavida”, “Greenlight” and “Amen”. 

The smashingly beautiful Programmer, pipeline welding and fabrication expert who started singing when she was just eight said she was motivated to go all out after the song she did for the Eagles before AFCON 2019.

“My first single was “Helelema” a song I did on behalf of the Super Eagles Supporters Club for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations. That song gained wide acceptance and it propelled me to go all out just like  the Super Eagles. I got a lot of inspiration after traveling with the Eagles to Lesotho for the AFCON 2021 qualifier which Nigeria won, “ Vera stated.

On her latest Album, Vera said: “The trio album love and Lies is basically for those who have been treated unworthily because it is time to let go of the past and shine bright”.

Exuding with confidence, Vera said she is in the scene to dominate the music scene for a long time.

Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media to express their deep love for the songs. They feel it came at the right time amidst Covid-19 pandemic, even as others tipped her to rule the country’s women music industry.
