Taekwondo : Abuja Bubbles for Korean Ambassador Cup
The 2026 Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship kick starts at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja today with the classification of the Para Players that will be attending the World Championship.

Also to be in attendance are officials of the World Taekwondo Classifiers who will be attending the championship proper.
Meanwhile, the Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Yo-an Jeon is already excited about the event which is the first to be held under the regime of the new President of Nigeria Taekwondo Federation, Tayo Popoola.
Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko and the Director General, Hon. Bukola Olopade, have been supportive of all Taekwondo activities in the country and the Korean Ambassador Cup will not be an exception .
The Tayo Popoola led NTF have been working round the clock since last week to ensure a hitch-free championship.
The Kukkiwon Demonstration are already in Nigeria to entertain guests at the championship.
Competition is expected to be highly interesting and entertaining considering the quality of opposition lined up.
The programme wil end at the MO Arena on Friday 24 October, 2026.
