Nigeria, Spain Sign Bilateral Agreement

The Federal Government of Nigeria has has today signed a bilateral agreement with Spain.

The bilateral agreement between the two countries is historic, considering the fact that the two countries are from different continents.

The agreement bothers on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters, Extradition and Transfer of Sentenced persons.

This was done in Madrid Spain, as President Muhammadu Buhari attends World Tourism Organization (WTO) in Madrid,Spain.

Amongst the entourage that travelled with President Muhammadu to Spain were Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami (SAN), Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Lai Mohammed, Sec. Gen. WTO and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, Mr Ademola Seriki.
