2026 NLO Kicks off April 17 as Best Talent FC gears up for new season in Abeokuta

The Nationwide League One (NLO), popularly known as third tier league has unveiled the much awaited fixtures which pitched Best Talent Football Club of Mowe with 10 other teams at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The Mowe giants had narrowly lost the ongoing State Federation Cup against Lasegski FC via penalty shootouts after missing lots of chances in the regulation period
The other teams that would rock the boat with Coach Farouk Yusuf tutored side include: Yewa FC, Raymond FC, M&N, H2U FC, Custom FC and Lasegski.
Others are just John FC, Juvenile, Dino Sporting, Patriot FC, and Customs FC.
According to the organisers of the league, it is set to kick off on April 17th, and Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys are in optimum shape to have an exciting campaign.
According to the league format, the winner of each group will be drawn against the winner of the corresponding centre.
Speaking shortly after the groupings, the General Manager of the Mowe outfit ,Mr. Sikiru Ibrahim (SK) expressed optimism that the team will make a big statement.and will challenge and maximally contest for the group sole ticket this season.
In his words: “I think with due respect, all the teams in our group are very strong, but Best Talent FC are ready to try our best.
“Our primary objective is to snatch the sole ticket and secure promotion to the Nigeria Nationa League, NNL, God’s, willing.Amen.”
Corroborating the club’s General Manager is the team’s head coach, Farouk Yusuf. He said: “We are already gearing up for this season as we look forward to the commencement of the league. We have been working round the clock to fulfil the yearnings and aspirations of our teaming fans. We can not afford to let down this time”
He added: “We are confident that our players are ready to give their optimum best and make a strong impression in the upcoming season.”
Best Talent FC will clash against H2U FC on their opening fixture on Saturday, 18th April, 2026, at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, by 4 pm
