Chioma Ajunwa’s Foundation spoils widows a little @ Christmas

For over a 100 widows in Lagos, this year’s Christmas was a special one, thanks to Chioma Ajunwa’s Foundation.
The Foundation of the nation’s only individual Olympic gold medalist not only treated the widows to some good time on Christmas eve but showered them with gifts and cash.
Ajunwa a police ACP had while hosting the widows in her Ikeja, Lagos home said her Foundation decided to put a smile on the face of the windows as a way of impacting positively on the society.
She assured that the Foundation would in the years ahead do more, even as she disclosed that the next target is to offer scholarship to indigent students.
“This year we have been able to reach out to widows…we hope to do more, especially in the area of scholarship. I hope we would get the needed support from individuals and corporate bodies to be able to achieve our dream,” Ajunwa stated.
The widows who got rice, wrapper, and other items from the Ajunwa Foundation expressed joy and prayed for the Foundation to grow from strength to strength.
