Course mates congratulate Prof. Bamire, new OAU VC

The 1980/85 set of graduates of the Obafemi Awolowo University Faculty of Agriculture have congratulated their course mate, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire as he is being installed the 12th Vice Chancellor of the institution in Ile-Ife, Osun state today.

President of the group, Barrister Wale Adekola,  in his congratulatory message to Prof Bamire on behalf of his colleagues, prayed that the tenure of the new Vice Chancellor will usher in a “New Life” in the institution. 

“Your ascendancy to the position of Vice Chancellor is a celebration of “New Life” in that Citadel of Learning” he said.

Barrister Adekola equally prayed for “God’s divine protection, guidance, blessings and abundant reward”  for Prof Bamire in the discharge of his duties and all his endeavours as OAU’s new helmsman.
