Fubara declares for NDC, says Rivers will be OK in 2027

As stakeholders battle for the soul of Rivers state, a community development expert, Ambassador Blessing Fubara Snr. has announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Fubara, who made the declaration after he was well received by the national leader of NDC , Senator Seriake Dickson and other stakeholders of the party in Abuja, said his decision to join the NDC, which he referred to as a moving train is in the interest of the people of Rivers state
He noted that the soul of Rivers state is at stake as the people get set to take back their state, stressing that Rivers will be OK after the 2027 polls
Amb. Blessing Fubara Snr. is a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Community Development and Adult Education and the MD/CEO of D’Consiglories LLC. He is a development strategist, urban renewal consultant, and grassroots mobilizer with experience in public sector advisory and youth empowerment initiatives.
He formerly served as Technical Assistant to the Rivers State Government on Employment Generation and Empowerment, Resource Consultant to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) on Youth Development, and Consultant to the Rivers State Government on Urban Renewal and Infrastructure Development.
Through his corporate and public service engagements, Amb. Blessing Fubara Snr. has remained actively involved in leadership advocacy, community transformation, youth development, smart urban initiatives, and strategic socio-economic development across Rivers State and the Niger Delta region.
