UCL semi: Lyon’s clash won’t be easy -Gnabry
By George Aluo
Bayern’s attacking pearl Serge Gnabry is not expecting an easy game when they face French side, Lyon in today’s second semi final clash in Lisbon, Portugal.
The former Arsenal man who was on target in Bayern’s 8-2 demolition of Barcelona in the quarterfinal said yesterday during a pre match interview monitored in Lagos that Lyon’s strong defence line is a big worry.
He stressed that the French team are also experts in counter attacks.
“It won’t be an easy game. Lyon are very strong in the defence…they defend very well and they are very dangerous when they launch counter attacks,” Gnary said.
Although he rated Lyon as a very good side, Gnary is however sure of his team reaching the Sunday final where PSG are laying siege.
“We have a good team…we have had a very fine run and we are sure of being in the final,” were Gnabry’s words.
PSG Tuesday night overpowered inexperienced German side RB Leipzig by 3-0 to zoom into the final to be decided at Estadio da Luz, Lisbon.
