Nigeria, Ghana soccer rivalry set to continue as Bayelsa Queens draw Ghana Police

Nigeria’s flag bearers in the CAF Champions League (Women) Bayelsa Queens have been drawn in a group where they would face Ghana Police Ladies in the WAFU B qualifiers billed for Côte d’Ivoire.
The draw for the qualifiers was held this morning with Bayelsa Queens drawn into Group B alongside Ghana Police Ladies, Togolese side Association Sportive de La Kozah, and Benin’s Sam Nelly.
Police Ladies of Ghana who are making their debut in the tournament earned their place in the regional competition after clinching their first-ever Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League title last season.
The qualifiers will kick off on August 23 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire and end on September 4.
