2027 Election : Odunze takes bold leap in PDP

It was with pomp and political pageantry, as People’s Democratic Party, PDP Imo State chapter made a visible statement of their readiness for the 2027 political dispensation, even as Hon.ToniBrown Odunze took the political storm and joined the litany of national officers of the party in welcoming high profiled decampees of other political parties into the big umbrella.

Odunze popularly known as Ikuku Oma Mbaitoli is a frontline aspirant for Mbaitoli State Constitutency in 2027 and his political bold leap seems to be putting quicksilver in the political camp of other aspirants.

The well attended historical event took place at the State party secretariat along Okigwe road, Owerri and, drew party faithful, stakeholders , chieftains and the general public from across the State and even beyond.

The evergreen political event however highlighted the growing momentum of the political party as it seriously prepares for the forthcoming primaries and general elections.

Ikuku Oma Mbaitoli played a leading role in receiving the revered decampees, demonstrating inclusiveness and unity of purpose as the foundation for electoral success.

The ceremony also served as a rallying point for both old and new members, reinforcing the party’s commitment to rebuilding and strengthening its grassroots base.

The House of Assembly hopeful as part of his endermic philanthropic nature doled out a whopping sum of N500,000 ( five hundred thousand Naira) only for the political party’s youth development and party cohesion,.

The gesture was tremendously applauded, and the State youth leader, described it as a timely boost to grassroots mobilization and youth engagement within the party.

The occasion was chaired by the National Chairman of the party, represented by the Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Abdulrahman, alongside members of the National Working Committee.

In his remarks, he urged members to remain dedicated, united, and focused on securing victory for the party in the forthcoming coming elections.

Also addressing the gathering, the national secretary of PDP Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Samdady) charged party members to stay steadfast in all party activities, expressing strong confidence that victory lies ahead if unity of purpose and commitment are sustained.

The event featured the formal induction of the defectors and new entrants, who pledged loyalty to the party and its vision for progress in the State.

The atmosphere was however filled with optimism and renewed determination as the party continues to position itself for electoral success.
