CAFCC: Fresh hopes for Enyimba as Amaju takes case to CAF exco

By George Aluo
Enyimba may bounce back to the CAF Confederations Cup if NFF president Amaju Melvin Pinnick succeeds in the latest board room move he is making on behalf of the club.
Amaju who confirmed this today in a chat with newstap.com.ng said he would raise the Enyimba case at CAF exco.
According to the NFF president, the Enyimba, Al Itihad issue is not a closed chapter as in his words…”I m going to raise the issue at CAF exco and we see how it goes…”
Amaju was quick in pointing out that things are not normal under the COVID 19 era as it is difficult to prosecute matches both at national team and club levels.
He pointed out that he knew what Enyimba went through in Morocco while trying to get to Tunisia for the first leg against Al Itihad.
He stressed that he had to intervene when the club got stranded in Morocco.
Al Itihad had on Sunday walked over Enyimba in Benghazi after the People’s Elephant failed to honor the game no thanks to their inability to travel out.
