Gov Uzodinma unveils Heartland Jersey, assures team of support

The number one citizen of IMO State Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma yesterday at the Government House unveiled new sets of Jerseys to be used by Heartland for their campaign in the new NPFL season.
In a brief ceremony at the Douglas house, Governor Uzodinma played host to the Heartland hierarchy .

Deputy Speaker of the Imo state house of assembly Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu introduced the Heartland contingent to the governor which comprise of the acting general manager Promise Nwachukwu, Hassan Abdallah ,Technical Adviser and Solomon Onu the Media Director.
He commended Coach Abdallah for restoring discipline and sanity to the team while urging him to do more to help return Heartland to winning ways.

Reacting Coach Abdallah expressed his appreciation to the Governor for his support and promised that the visit will motivate his boys to give more than 100 percent.
The acting general manager Mr Promise Nwachukwu stepped up to do the honours and presented the new sets of Jerseys to the number one citizen who was very satisfied with the quality.

“Wow , the jersey is beautiful and has quality too. Thanks for the honour to unveil the new Jersey. Heartland is our pride and as a government we will continue to support our team”
He also commended the club’s supervisors, Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu (Deputy Speaker) and Hon Dan Ogu (Commisioner of Youth and Sports)alongside the Chief Whip Hon Chigozie Nwaneri.

“I am happy with your leadership and how you are steering the ship and hopefully this season will be totally different”
On Heartland’s first game this weekend, the Governor urged the team to go all out and give Imolites the victory they deserve.
“I understand you have a game this weekend, the Commisioner will be back for us to settle everything and i believe you will win to give Imo people the victory they deserve”

Heartland will Unveil her new recruits today December 17th 2021 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium by 4pm
The team will prosecute her first game of the season on Sunday against Nasarawa United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium by 4pm.
