Ebonyi PDP: Ogba’s victory excites Iloenyosi

Ex international, Chikelue Iloenyosi is on cloud nine over Obinna Ogba’s victory in the PDP gubernatorial primary conducted on Sunday in Abakaliki.

Iloenyosi moments after the primaries sent out a tweet that read…”congratulations to the football family. A member of the family, a sports man per excellence Obinna Ogba is heading to the government house in Abakaliki come 2023.”

Ogba polled 253 votes to defeat his closest rival, Anayo Nwonu who scored 110 votes.

Ogba is a former State Chairman of PDP and an incumbent Senator representing Ebonyi Central in the National Assembly.

Sunday’s election was sequel to the decision of the Appeal Court which settled the leadership crisis of the party in the state.
