Egbe congratulates new INC leader

Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Group, Ebi Egbe has congratulated the new president of Ijaw National Congress (INC) Prof Benjamin Ogele Okaba.

Egbe in his message said the Ijaw people have chosen a competent intellectual to lead the body which is the ethnic group’s foremost socio-cultural organization.

“I congratulate Prof Okaba on his victory. I have no doubt that Ijaw people have chosen the right person who has the intellectual capacity to deliver and make the Ijaw nation great,” Egbe stated.

Egbe charged Okaba to use his office to ensure that peace reigns in Ijaw nation, pointing out that no meaningful development can take place without peace.

Egbe stressed that the Ijaw nation must also speak with one voice and be their brothers keepers.

Okaba, the new INC leader is a Professor of Sociology at the Federal University, Otuoke in Bayelsa State. He hails from Kpakiama in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.
