Elegbeleye wins Ondo North Senatorial primary

Chairman of Nigeria Professional Football League Gbenga Elegbeleye has won the APC senatorial primaries in Ondo North.

In the primary election conducted by the party Tuesday, Elegbeleye won the Ondo North Senatorial District by polling 28,062. Ajipe Alex secured 17,313 votes, while Olajide Ipinsagba recorded 9,819 votes.

It would be noted that Elegbeleye a former DG of the National Sports Commission (NSC) has been a two time member of the House of Representatives.
