Igbokwe thumbs up Anambra FA boss over U-17 Cup

Veteran football administrator, Bar Iyke Igbokwe has given a pat on the back to Anambra FA chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi.

Igbokwe who is the Competition’s Director of the on going Anambra FA Chairman’s U-17 grassroots tournament said Iloenyosi has done well by initiating the event.

The former Gabros FC scribe noted that Nigerian football will be the biggest beneficiary of the catch them young soccer tournament as a good number of talented footballers are set to be fished out.

“The NFF should expect some very gifted Players from Anambra State for the new Golden Eaglets,” Igbokwe stated, even as he added…”Kudos to our multi award winning Capacity Chairman, General Chikelue lloenyosi for this breathe of fresh air in Anambra State Football. Other state FAs should just borrow a leaf from Anambra State. If they are not doing this already. That’s the only way to reclaim our position in World U17 Football set up.”

Igbokwe disclosed that 24 Anambra State U17 clubs registered for the competition.
