Interpol boss gets plaudits on his birthday from Iloenyosi
The Commissioner of Police in-charge of Interpol in Nigeria, GB Umar has been praised for his support for football as he celebrates his birthday today (May 15.)
Ex international, Chikelue Iloenyosi while wishing the Kaduna State born Officer, the very best on his special day noted that Umar has been a solid pillar for Nigerian football.
“Umar has been very supportive of Nigerian football. As the chief security adviser to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), he has always been there for the Amaju led board. He is a refined police officer that Nigeria should be proud of,” Iloenyosi stated, adding…”I pray that the Good Lord continues to bless and keep him.”
Iloenyosi stressed that Umar has also been collaborating with the nation’s ex internationals noting that Umar, is a good friend of the umbrella body of Nigeria’s players union, the National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers (NANPF).
