NFF security chief wins big in Turkey

...Emerges Vice President of world Interpol

The security adviser to the nation’s soccer governing body, NFF, AIG Garba Baba Umar has been elected as the Vice President of World Interpol at the body’s 89th General Assembly which took place in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday morning.

This much was confirmed by Chikelue Iloenyosi, a very close pal of the security chief who witnessed the election in Turkey.

Iloenyosi told Newstap.com.ng that it was a sweet victory not just for Umar but for the country.

“We are walking tall here as Nigerians. AIG Umar is a thorough breed police officer which Nigeria should be proud of,” Iloenyosi said.
