The briefing, conducted by the NFF’s Integrity Unit, educated players and staff on the risks of match manipulation, the methods used by fixers to approach players, and the consequences for individuals and teams involved in any form of match-manipulation corruption.

The session covered:

(i)Recognition of match-manipulation approaches

(ii) Prohibition on betting and sharing inside information

(iii) Confidential reporting channels available 24/7

(iv) Consequences of involvement in match-fixing

The briefing is part of FIFA’s comprehensive competition monitoring plan for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2026, which includes sophisticated betting-monitoring systems, intelligence sharing with law enforcement, and continuous integrity support throughout the competition.
