PWA honours Belgian wrestling promoter, Thierry Rhodan

Renowned Belgian wrestling promoter, Thierry Rhodan has been honoured with Pro- Wrestling Africa Award of Excellence for his contributions towards developing the mats man game.
Rhodan who is the promoter of Wanderer Kombat Federation ( Revue Du Catch Belge) was nominated by the PWA for the award as one of the best promoting organisation in Belgium in 2024.
Presenting the award to him, President of Allied Independent Wrestling Federation (AIWF) Africa who also doubles as Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, ( PWF), Olusesan Olukoya noted that the award is in recognition of his promotion acumen which has helped many wrestlers achieve their full potentials in the game

Olukoya who presented the award to him on Friday, December , 20 at the
Saint Anne Cafe, 68 Koekelberg, Brussels as part of his five nation European tour that took him to Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark and Spain stated that he’s happy to be associated with the awardee whom he described as a good friend and worthy promoter

” We decided to present this award to Thierry Rhodan because of his passion for wrestling and using his promotion outfit to uplift wrestlers and we’re proud of what he’s doing
” I have no doubt in my mind that this award will encourage him to do more and we at PWA Africa are ready to learn from his experiences as well as partner with him to take African wrestling to greater height.
Receiving the award, Thierry Rhodan noted that he was humbled by the award just as he noted that it will spur him to do more for the sport.
” I’m highly excited with this award because it shows that people outside Europe appreciates what I’m doing and it will spur me to do more for the game.
In attendance, at the event are; Francis Lee and Eagle De Great among other dignitaries
