CAFCC: Enyimba’s away woes continue in Libya

Another poor away outing! That was what Enyimba had in Libya Thursday night as they lost 0-1 to Ahli Benghazi.

Enyimba it would be noted had also failed to get result in South Africa against Orlando Pirates and in Algeria against Setif.

Mutassem El Taib struck in the 40th minute for Ahli Benghazi and the goal turned out to be all the Libyans needed to secure maximum points.

As things stand now in the group, Enyimba would need a win against Orlando Pirates at home to be able to qualify for the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Enyimba is the only Nigerian side still in the continent. The other three clubs that flew the country’s flag failed to go beyond the prelims.
