Night of Destruction Boxing Tournament Set to Thrill Lagos Fans
Boxing enthusiasts are expected to gather at Discovery Lounge, located at 3/5 Trinity Avenue, by Greenfield Estate, Ago Palace Way, Lagos, for the highly anticipated Night of Destruction boxing tournament, promoted by Ugonna Owie.
The event, sponsored by the Nigeria Boxing Federation, Sherfex Gas, and Air Peace, will feature a series of championship bouts with some of the country’s top fighters competing for regional boxing titles.
The headline attraction of the evening will see Obizulike “Viper” take on Ani Michael in a 10-round middleweight contest for the UBC African Title under the Universe Boxing Council.
In the co-main event, Chambo Dike will face Chemezie Prince in a six-round heavyweight bout for the IBC Intercontinental Championship.
Other championship contests on the card include Okafor versus Olufimo in a six-round cruiserweight title fight, Joshua against Chijioke in a six-round middleweight contest, and Ibrahim taking on Chidoezie in another six-round middleweight championship bout. All three fights will be contested for the IBC Intercontinental Championship.
Organisers say the tournament is aimed at promoting professional boxing in Nigeria while providing a platform for emerging and established fighters to showcase their talent before fans and boxing stakeholders.
Tickets for the event are available in three categories: regular admission at ₦10,000, VIP tickets at ₦50,000, tables for five at ₦500,000, and tables for twelve at ₦1,000,000.
The Night of Destruction promises an evening of high-level boxing action as competitors battle for championship honours in one of Lagos’ most anticipated fight nights.
