NFF scribe, Sanusi shines at CAF Congress in CIV

Nigeria’s Dr Mohammed Sanusi is no doubt a worthy ambassador of the country at the on going CAF Congress in Côte d’Ivoire.

The NFF Secretary General received plaudits from officials of CAF and FIFA after he seamlessly presided over election into CAF executive committee at the 45th Congress of the African soccer governing body.

Sanusi who is the leader of all the CAF Secretary Generals ensured that the election was smooth to the delight of all those present.

The election was conducted in the presence of FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe , CAF Executive Committee Members, some officials from FIFA , CAF Member Associations, and members of the media.

A very impressed CAF President, Dr Motsepe poured encomium on Dr Sanusi after the election describing him as an excellent football administrator.

The Nigerian soccer buff was also singled out for praise by other dignitaries at the event in which the draw for the African qualifiers for 2026 FIFA World Cup is being conducted.
