Organizers of Unity Pre-season tournament set to host event in Abuja, appoints minister’s aide to committee

Organisers of the Unity Pre-season Tournament have signified their intention to hold the 2024 edition of the tournament in Abuja.

According to the General Coordinator of the tournament Patrick Ngwaogu (Odogwu), the date of the tournament which has become the flagship of all Pre-season tournaments for teams in Northern zone of the country will be announced soon.
He said the tournament has effectively served the interest of participating teams in the past five seasons.

Odogwu who was the former Vice Chairman of the FCT Football Association said that teams had in the past used the tournament to prepare effectively for new seasons.

“We have informed the teams that this edition will be specifically for the NPFL and NNL teams in the region,
and the date of the tournament which will serve as a rehearsal for teams for the new season will be announced soon.

The former Abia Warriors FC Sporting Director further announced the appointment of the Media Aide to the Minister of Sports, Kola Daniel into the Organising committee

Kola Daniel will join the likes of Tolulope Oguntimehim and Olaoluwa Aro to deliver the best Pre-season tournament this year.
