Tokyo 2020: D’Tigress bow to France

Nigeria’s basketball teams continued their not too impressive run in Tokyo as the D’Tigress bowed to France this morning (Friday) losing by 87-62 points.

It was a game in which the Nigerian girls failed to put up the kind of fight they did put up against world number one, USA.

France who had surprisingly lost to host Japan in their first game were more determined right from the first quarter and they dominated all through the match.

For the D’Tigress , all hopes are not lost as a win against Japan in their last group tie could still see them sneak into the last eight.

D’Tigers would on their part face Italy tomorrow in a must win game. D’Tigers it would be noted lost their first two games against USA and Germany.
