The Lagos State FA appears to have made it clear that they won’t endorse a candidate they consider an outsider to contest the NFF election.
An that candidate is UK based David Doherty.
A competent Lagos FA source disclosed today that Doherty’s form won’t be endorsed because in his words…”we don’t know him.”
Our source said the state FA is backing the chairman Barrister Seyi Akinwumi (BSA) and would not want to be distracted by a person who in his words…”we do not know where he is coming from…”
Newstap.com.ng gathered that Doherty who is said to have been endorsed by two other states (Anambra and Plateau) has not been able to get endorsement from his home state.
